Don’t want to make the commitment to hire an affiliate manager or OPM (Outsourced Program Manager) but need consulting to get your program up and running? We can help. Merchant ABCs has created an Affiliate Program Set Up service so that you can get your affiliate program off on the right foot. Before we talk to you about setting up your site you need to be sure your site is ready so we recommend a site review.
Cost $3000
Time Span: Approximately 3 months or 30 hours, whichever comes first
Services:
1. Consultation about what network you should launch on, or whether an in-house program is right for your company.
2. Consultation about what an affiliate Terms of Service should include, plus discussion about the various types of affiliates and whether any of those groups should be excluded or regulated in your program
3. Assistance with your technical team on implementing affiliate tracking. While this is mostly the responsibility of the affiliate network or tracking solution you choose, we will assist to get you the information you need to get up and running.
4. Auto Approval of affiliates versus Manual Approval – when each can be the right choice
5. Setup of your credit card payment processing network. We help you select the right credit card merchant service, depending on your level of Risk. You can go with a low-risk retail store credit cards processor, or a high risk merchant service provider.
6. Training for your person that will be handling the affiliate program about best practices for newsletters, recruiting, affiliate communication and direction to additional resources.
7. Recommendations for advertising on various affiliate forums, consultation on using social media to recruit.
8. Consultation about appropriate affiliate management services and referral to appropriate companies.
